I offer attachment-based, trauma-informed psychoanalytic psychotherapy. This means I work with you to understand how early relationships and life experiences may be affecting how you feel, think, and relate to others now. We explore patterns that might be keeping you stuck or causing distress, including those that may be outside of your awareness. I aim to provide a safe, supportive space where you can go at your own pace, build self-awareness, strengthen emotional resilience, and work toward meaningful change.

I work in person in Shoreditch, (London) and Bishop’s Stortford, (Hertfordshire). Both practices offer a calm and confidential space for in-person sessions. You will find the addresses at the bottom of my homepage
I also offer online therapy via Zoom, which can provide greater flexibility depending on your location or schedule. If you’d like more details, feel free to get in touch.

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. It gives you the opportunity to experience what it might feel like to work with me and to ask any questions you have.
I’ll invite you to share what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’re hoping for from the process. I’ll also ask about your family history, important relationships, significant life events, your current circumstances, and any worries you have about the past, present, or future.
At the end of our first meeting, if you feel comfortable, we can arrange two more sessions. By the third session, we’ll reflect together on whether I feel like the right therapist for you. If you decide to continue, we can agree on ongoing sessions at a frequency that feels right for you, whether that be weekly, twice weekly or more frequent.
-
Each session offers a consistent, confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we’ll begin to make sense of patterns in how you relate to yourself and others. With a psychoanalytic view, we will explore underlying emotional dynamics and unconscious processes. The work is collaborative and trauma-informed, moving at a pace that feels right for you and shaped by your unique needs.
-
That’s completely understandable. Therapy is your space, and you decide what to share and when. Building trust and comfort takes time, and I’m here to support you at your own pace.
-
Yes, confidentiality is a fundamental part of therapy. What you share in our sessions is kept private and treated with care and respect.
There are a few exceptions—that I am obliged by law to report including current abuse of children, threats of deliberate harm to life, or threats to commit terrorist acts.
I am required by my professional organisation, the BACP, to regularly discuss my work with a supervisor, to ensure safe and ethical practice, and to maintain high standards. In these discussions I don’t reveal names or personal details.
Any personal information I hold about you (eg. email address, phone number) is in accordance with GDPR (data protection) legislation.

Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place once, twice a week or more frequently, depending on what feels most supportive. We can discuss what frequency might work best for you during our initial conversations.
-
Yes, I offer sessions both in person (in Shoreditch and Bishop’s Stortford) and online via Zoom. You’re welcome to choose the setting that feels most accessible and comfortable for you.
-
As an attachment-based therapist I work on a long-term, open-ended basis, in therapy that usually may last for months or years, depending on how long you wish to continue. There’s no fixed timeframe.
-
You’re always free to end therapy whenever you choose. This is your process, and it’s important that it feels right for you.
If you decide you’d like to bring our work to a close, we’ll take some time—to reflect on your therapy, what’s felt helpful, and how you’d like to move forward.
Endings can be an important part of the therapeutic process, and I usually request a minimum of 2 months notice to support you in making that transition with care and thoughtfulness.
